Dnsmasq bekerja untuk menyediakan ip dari address yang pernah di kunjungi sehingga request suatu alamat website lebih cepat di temukan oleh browser dengan adananya dnsmasq ini, misal kata browser client merequest alamat http://www.mandailingnatal.com, alamat itu hanya untuk mempermudah kita dalam penggunaannya dan sayangnya komputer tidak mengenal alamat itu tapi mengenal ip address, jadi dnsmasq berpungsi juga untuk resolving domain ke address dan sebaliknya. Tentu dengan adanya ini akan lebih mempermudah dan mempercepat browser dalam mengakses alamat tertentu jika seblumnya alamat yang di request sudah tersimpan didalam dnsmasq.

bagaimana cara menginstal dnsmasq di ubuntu ?

Kerena kebetulan saja saya menggunakan ubuntu 9.0 maka penginstalan di sini saya sebutkan dengan versi ubuntu:

• apt-get install dnsmasq
• lakukan configurasi untuk file file berikut sesuai dengan kebutuhan

1. /etc/dnsmasq.conf : merupakan file konfigurasi utama dnsmasq tersebut
2. /etc/resolv.conf : file konfigurasi untuk DNS client / resolver yang berisi nama domain dan DNS server
3. /etc/resolv.conf.dnsmasq : file yang berisi alamat upstream DNS server.
4. /etc/hosts: file yang berisikan pemetaan dari no IP ke nama host nya

• di bagian /etc/dnsmasq.conf cari tulisan listen-address=
• Dan isikan alamat : 127.0.0.1 , dns dari isp1, dns dari isp2
• ketikkan /etc/init.d/dnsmasq restart/start/stop atau service dnsmasq start/stop/restart

UPDATE:

Gunakan unbound dengan perintah apt-get install unbound. Untuk configurasi silahkan refer ke http://nst.web.id

• Klik tombol START -> pilih RUN --> ketikkan CMD
• Pada consol windows ini kamu bisa filih drive flashdisk kamu atau memori stick kamu misalnya kita asumsikan drivenya adalah F:
• Ketikkan nama drive kamu di ikuti tanda titik dua misalnya ketikkan F: lalu tekan enter
• Ketikkan ATTRIB - S -H /S /D *

Artidari option di atas adalah :

+ : Sets an attribute.

- : Clears an attribute.
R : Read-only file attribute.
A : Archive file attribute.
S : System file attribute.
H : Hidden file attribute.
/S: Processes matching files in the current folder and all subfolders.
/D: Processes folders as well.

Dengan cara ini kita mereset kembali permition yang di ubah oleh virus sehingga posisi file dan folder kita dapat di lihat dengan mode normal windows

Mandailing Natal - Cara Mengamankan File  di  Windows Xp - Saya baru tahu ternyata windows XP cukup powerfull untuk mengamankan file pribadi kita,ya itu dengan memberikan utility zip bawaan windows xp untuk mempassword file yang kita rasa sangat rahasia dari tangan tangan jahil yang ingin melihatnya. Meskipun tidak 100 persen aman tapi cukup aman untuk menjaga dari tangan istri dan anak anda yang masih belum tau soal crack meng-crack


Caranya sangat simpel dan sangat mudah ikuti cerita berikut ini :

• Buat sebuah folder tempat file file mu di amankan, misalnya file kantor atau photo bugilmu atau video mesum dengan pacarmu atau juga koleksi video hiburan yang berbau sex buatlah dengan cara mengklik kanan dia area kosong dimana saja kamu mau baik desktop mau pun di windows explorer seterusnya pilih new --> folder . Dan berikan nama foldernya sesuai maumu, kalau bisa jangan buat yang merangsang keingin tahuan orang lain untuk mengetahui isinya.
• Findahkan file yang ingin di amankan kedalam folder tersebut
• Klik kanan folder yang kamu buat pilih send to --> pilih compressed (zipped) folder
• Tunggu selesai pengompresan oleh windows kedalam zip files.
• Setelah selesai double klik folder yang sudah dizip dan folder aslinya hapus saja dan pastikan tidak tertinggal di RECYCLED BIN, setelah kamu double klik maka akan terbuka halaman baru nah di bagian ini kamu pilih FILE ---> ADD PASSWORD ketikkan password yang kamu mau dan pastikan kamu tidak lupa password itu. Sekaran folder mu sudah aman, coba deh double klik. minta password kan.
• Cara ini hanya cara simple bila di windows tidak menyediakan program winzip atau Winrar atau pengompress lainnya, atau tidak ingin memberati komputer anda dengan program program yang jarang di gunakan layaknya folder lock

Membuat ShoutBox dengan ShoutMix di Wordpress atau Blogspot

Bagaimana membuat shoutbox itu pertanyaan yang di lontarkan seorang pengunjung blog saya di medanblogger. Disini saya mau berbagi caranya, meskipun cara ini sudah menjamur di buat orang tapi tidaklah ada salahnya disini saya tulis dengan versi sendiri.
Langkah Langkahnya :

• Daftar di http://www.shoutmix.com/
• Dan Cari tulisan GET CODE. di bagian ini (shoutmix) kita bisa setting width dan height shoutbox yang akan tampil di blog kita seperti saya buat tetap dalam ukuran defaultnya yang berukururan width=160 dan height=400 terserah angka ini mau di buat berapa sesuaikan saja dengan sidebar sodara :)
• Login di blog sodara, baik itu wordpress maupun blogspot. Prinsifnya tetap sama di bagian widget. Nah dalam cerita ini saya buat tentang blogspot.
• Setelah login Blogger /blogspot di dashboard pilih Layout -> pilih Page Element
• Pada tulisan Klik tulisan ADD WIDGET -> pilih HTML / JAVASCRIPT dan muncul kotak text Editor
• Kembali ke Browser kita yang membuka shoutmix tadi, cari tulisan GET CODE dan klik kanan kode yang di berikan lalu pilih copy. (lakukan hal ini bila di rasa setting sudah cocok dengan keinginan, saya sendiri pilih setting default dan tidak di rubah rubah ) atau copy saja code di bawah ini dan ganti tulisan : manggatal dengan username sodara di shoutmix ini codenya

• Lalu tekan Tombol Save dan shoutbox anda akan tampil di sisi kanan blog sodara. Cara ini sama dengan blog yang menggunakan wodpress perbedaannya hanya di bagian dasboard kalo wordpress letaknya di menu DESIGN -> WIDGET -> klik TEXT dan PASTE kan Code yang di dapat dari shoutmix. Cara ini sama juga dengan menambah widget widget lain hanya saja code codenya yang berbeda dan bentuknya.

Mandailing Natal - Membuat Link Dalam Postingan Blogspot - Bagi para master, tuan tuan yang sudah familiar dengan blogger, wordpress, komputer, web, design tutoriall ini mungkin membuat anda tertawa, tapi tidak begitu dengan teman teman kita yang masih pemula, senang bila ada yang nanya. Selama  mampu menjawabnya akan dijawab. Pertanyaan mereka walau sesederhana apapun.

Dan semudah apapun untuk di jawab oleh tuan tuan yang sudah jago, master, hebat, dan sakti mandra guna di bidang komputer. Kebetulan ada temen yang nanya gimana membuat link di dalam postingan. Simple mudah dan gampang tentu itu jawaban kita. Tapi tidak bagi mereka yang baru tau, bahkan mungkin ini penting bagi pemula. Pertanyaannya adalah Bagaimana membuat link didalam postingan?. www.mandailingnatal.com tidak tau beliau serius bertanya tentang ini, atau hanya iseng iseng. Caranya :

1. Yang diblok nama Yanto lalu klik gambar Rantai (yang kotak warna merah gambar di bawh ini) di atas Editor Postingan, dan paste / ketikkan urlnya di kotak pesan terakhir yang muncul (enter url : ). Seperti gambar di bawah ini
2. (dalam gambar di atas kita harus mengetikkan alamat blog yang di link pada ENTER URL : kita ketikkan alamat blognya Yantox http://yantox-yantox.blogspot.com/ -> Abis itu klik tombol OK
3. Seperti itulah membuat link dalam postingan mudah mudahan bermanfaat. Coba perhatikan tulisan YANTO pada nomor 1. Bisa di klik kan....!!!

Redirect with Error 301 Parmanent

Seperti postinganku tadi sore subdomain blog.nst.web.id sudah tidak bisa di pake kedalam custom domain yang disediakan blogspot. Di karenakan di panel hosting tidak menyediakan pointing untuk service google yang beralamat ghs.google.com. Sementara kita tau juga domain .id tidak memilik fasilitas ini di panel domainnya.


Ternyata solusinya mudah saja, dan semoga pr blog.nst.web.id tidak berkurang walaupun crawl yang ada di google sudah yang lama punya.

Tapi ternyata tidak satu jalan keroma, makin banyak persoalan yang ada semakin tau kita mengatasinya. Meskipun pertama di hadapkan pada masalah itu membuat pusing 7 keliling. perhatikan gambar di bawah ini


Gambar di atas adalah gambar control untuk redirect subdomain blog.nst.web.id mengarah ke alamat blog ini http://bloggermedan.blogspot.com dengan tipe parmanen 301.

Ternyata fungsinya sangat luar biasa, dengan fungsi ini kita bisa meredirect ke domain lain sesuai dengan folder dan subfolder yang di berikan.

Dalam gambar di atas saya beri tanda wildcard untuk semua directory.

dan hasilnya memang ampuh, tuk menjaga pengunjung agar jangan lari dari subdomain itu, mudah mudahan saja pr tetap naik meskipun host nya tidak disitu lagi . contohnya copy paste link di bawah ini ke address bar otomatis dia akan lari kealamat redirect lengkap dengan foldernya :)

Cara Reset Printer Canon i850, i950, S600

Cara reset printer canon - Reset printer canon mudah - Reset printer perlu di lakukan ketika kemampuannya dalam mencetak telah berkurang maupun mogok dalam bekerja, dimana mogoknya printer canon tersebut di tandai dengan berkedipnya lampu indikator, yang di sebut dengan blingking.




Blingking printer canon pada dasarnya terjadi karena telah tercapainya batas maksimal dalam pencetakan, dan telah menjadi rahasia umum bahwa kebanyakan printer akan mengalami blingking jika telah mencapai batas maksimal pencetakan.


Dimana perhitungan batas maksimal pencetakan printer tersebut terekam didalam memori printer yang disebut dengan EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory) dimana type memori eeprom yang isinya bisa di hapus dengan perintah elektis. 

Mengatasi printer canon blingking dilakukan dengan mereset nilai yang terekam dalam memori EEPROM tersebut dapat di lakukan dengan tombol yang telah tersedia di printer canon.

 Cara reset printer canon blinking tanpa sotfware tambahan.

1. Matikan printer canon untuk meresetnya
2. Tekan tombol RESUME jangan di lepas sambil menekan tombol POWER
3. Lepaskan tombol RESUME
4. Tekan tombol RESUME dua kali, kemudian lepaskan tombol POWER
5. Tunggu lampu hijau selesia berkedip setelah menekan tombol resume.
6. Untuk memilih gunakan tombol RESUME, dan tombol power untuk mengeksekusi fungsi berdasarkan warna dimana warna tersebut dapat di lihat fungsinya seperti di bawah ini

Number of presses - light color - function0 presses - green - Test print (or exit service mode on i960)
1 press - orange - EEPROM info print (plus grid nozzle diagnostic on i960)
2 presses - green - EEPROM initialize

Start -> Run type regedit then click OK

Locate the following registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon



In Right Side Pane :

Double-click on DefaultUserName then type your user name as value and click OK
Double-click on DefaultPassword then type your password as value and click OK

If there is no entry like DefaultPassword, then create it using the following steps:

Rightclick and select New, and then select String Value
Type DefaultPassword as value name and Press OK
Double click on newly created entry and type your password there as value

If DefaultPassword string is not specified then Windows XP automatically changes the value of AutoAdminLogon key from 1 (true) to 0 (false) to turn off AutoAdminLogon facility.

Double-click on AutoAdminLogon entry then type 1 as value and Press OK

If there is no entry like AutoAdminLogon, then create it using the following steps:

Rightclick and select New, and then select String Value
Type AutoAdminLogon as value name, and then Press OK
Double Click the newly created key and type 1 as value

Close Registry Editor

Restart your PC, now your windows XP can log in Automatically.

SO… Faster PC , first of all why a faster PC ?? Well its not a question of a faster PC but this is more a question of when. If you’ve been running a large application (or several large applications, maybe a game, Photoshop, something like that) the RAM can get taken up quickly. Even when you close down these programs, RAM can still be eaten-up.


You’ll notice this effect at the end of the day. When you first power-up your PC it’s running smoothly, by the end of the day it gets sluggish. Yes, you can get various softwares to solve this. May of which costs but when free things matters, heres how a simple trick can work (in both windows XP and Vista)

1. Open up Notepad (I use Notepad++, review coming soon)
2. Type in MYSTRING=(80000000)
3. Save the file as MEMORY.VBE (or RAM.VBE if you like…just remember the .VBE)
4. Make sure you save the file to your DESKTOP.
5. Just double-click the newly created file on your desktop whenever your PC seems sluggish. It will give your RAM a much needed boost.

Not that if you have less than 128mb of RAM (do you really? If so then Oh! wake up you need an upgrade) change the 80000000 to 160000000 and it should work the same.

RAM Defrag is another nice freeware utility that frees up your RAM however it clears of all the injected DLL’s and the cache so the computer may get more sluggish for a while a Defrag.

Note that told above is version 2.71 of Ram Defrag which is a freeware, a newer version 2.84 is also available here which is Shareware available here.I am not aware of the working of the version 2.84

7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.

or move momentarily. If the above was properly performed the printer will enter the
"Service Mode".
(4) Press the RESUME button 4 times, this will select the clear waste ink counter function. The lamp
will alternate (change) color with each key press.
1. Service/Factory test printout, including ink sensor check.
2. EEPROM - Info printout.
3. EEPROM - Initialization.
4. Reset the Waste ink counter.
5. Printer model setting. (More selections beyond this point - However it is best leave them unaltered - You have been warned!)
After selecting the desired mode (eg 4), press the POWER button to "set" the change, and return to the top of the function selection menu. Press the POWER button again to restart the printer.

Unlocking Bios Password

If you are unfortunate enough to set a password for your BIOS password for PC and forgot it, chances are you may need to send it back to the manufacturer. Not to worry yet, you still can try out some tips and tricks to bypass or unlock the BIOS password:


BIOS passwords can add an extra layer of security for desktop and laptop computers. They are used to either prevent a user from changing the BIOS settings or to prevent the PC from booting without a password. Unfortunately, BIOS passwords can also be a liability if a user forgets their password, or changes the password to intentionally lock out the corporate IT department. Sending the unit back to the manufacturer to have the BIOS reset can be expensive and is usually not covered in the warranty. Never fear, all is not lost. There are a few known backdoors and other tricks of the trade that can be used to bypass or reset the BIOS password on most systems.


Before attempting to bypass the BIOS password on a computer, please take a minute to contact the hardware manufacturer support staff directly and ask for their recommended methods of bypassing the BIOS security. In the event the manufacturer cannot (or will not) help you, there are a number of methods that can be used to bypass or reset the BIOS password yourself. They include:

• Using a manufacturers backdoor password to access the BIOS
• Use password cracking software
• Reset the CMOS using the jumpers or solder beads.
• Removing the CMOS battery for at least 10 minutes
• Overloading the keyboard buffer
• Using a professional service

Please remember that most BIOS passwords do not protect the hard drive, so if you need to recover the data, simply remove the hard drive and install it in an identical system, or configure it as a slave drive in an existing system. The exception to this are laptops, especially IBM Thinkpads, which silently lock the hard drive if the supervisor password is enabled. If the supervisor password is reset without resetting the and hard drive as well, you will be unable to access the data on the drive.
